To best meet the needs of eco-sustainability, we refer to C.A.M. (Minimum Environmental Criteria) or rating systems, such as LEED® and others, which define criteria for evaluating products by guaranteeing a higher sustainability score for the most virtuous constructions.

BAGATTINI products meet the provisions of as many as 8 chapters of the Minimum Environmental Criteria (M.E.C.), defined in Official Gazette no. 259 of Nov. 6, 2017-Minimum Environmental Criteria for the Contracting of Design and Works Services for New Construction, Renovation and Maintenance-and its updates listed in O.J. No. 183 of Aug. 6, 2022 – Minimum Environmental Criteria for the contracting of design and execution services for construction works.

The designer is required to present a technical report, attaching the documentation provided, in which the characteristics of the products are highlighted in compliance with the individual required criteria.
The LEED rating system® is based on the attribution of credits which determine the sustainability of a project or a completed building. Used in over 160 countries, it represents today the most authoritative and universally recognized system for the building certification designed, built and operated in a manner sustainable and efficient.
While it is the buildings that get the certification, the use of compliant products to LEED requirements® is crucial for obtaining the certification itself. BAGATTINI offers high-profile products which contribute to obtaining LEED credits® for projects in four main areas, reported in the following table.
